Should This Podcast Continue?

Hi everyone.

You might have noticed that I was a little later than usual on the most recent episode. Part of that was because school got me busy, but to be honest I also found myself lacking my usual motivation. I realized I wasn’t as excited about the podcast as I was when I started.

When I first began, just about a year ago, Unspeakable Vice was a way for me to talk about an issue that was important to me in a way that, ultimately, I’d like to do academically and professionally. It was a great introduction for me into talking about the barriers to honest communication about sex, sexuality, and gender. But since I started the podcast, I now have also started graduate school. Being in school gives me exactly the medium to talk about these issues in a thoughtful manner. In other words, the benefit to me from the podcast is also what I am getting from school.

However, of course, the podcast is not just something to do for myself. I believe that it is important to other people as well. So I am not ready to give it up just yet. On the other hand, I would like to take some time to think about where its value truly lies, and what it could look like going forward.

So I am asking for your feedback. What do you get out of the podcast? What of it is most important to you? Where can it be improved? How do you think it could best evolve and expand?

Your comments below are very welcome. I also invite you to join our Discord server (the link is one of the icons at the bottom of every page) and be a part of the conversation there. Thank you!
