No Gender December

Hey, just throwing this out there. Here’s a campaign titled No Gender December. The idea is simple: don’t buy gifts for your kids that promote gender stereotypes.

I’m tempted to push the idea a little further, like some people do with No Shave November. How about we each violate a gender stereotype that we usually go along with? Guys, try some makeup, or put on a blouse. Girls, put on a blazer or skip the skirt. Whatever you feel like. What do you think?

It’s high time people think more (less?) about what makes someone male or female, or not.

See if you can come up with a way to make people question gender, and put it in the comments!
