Hey, just throwing this out there. Here’s a campaign titled No Gender December. The idea is simple: don’t buy gifts for your kids that promote gender stereotypes.
I’m tempted to push the idea a little further, like some people do with No Shave November. How about we each violate a gender stereotype that we usually go along with? Guys, try some makeup, or put on a blouse. Girls, put on a blazer or skip the skirt. Whatever you feel like. What do you think?
It’s high time people think more (less?) about what makes someone male or female, or not.
